Domaine Bastian is a founder member of the “Domaine et Tradition” Association.
The Bastian family also own the “Clos des Eglantiers” estate.
Domaine Bastian cultivates its vines using sustainable methods, respecting the environment, and growing in a way that is economically practical, but also minimises environmental impact. The key considerations in our wine making are the individuality of the terroir, and making best use of the characteristics of each grape variety.
Our wines are characterised by their finesse and elegance.
They use sustainable methods to cultivate their grapes which Anouk believes is imperative not only for the respect of nature, but also because these methods yield the healthiest grapes and therefore the highest quality wines. Mathis Bastian was one of the first winemakers in Luxembourg to employ these methods, and we believe this is one of the reasons its wines are so refined.
All their wines are lovely, but we suggest picking up a bottle of their Gewürztraminer; it is truly perfection!! Also stop by and grab a few bottles of their new creations Prélude “nanami” and Prélude “ianira”. Both have the Luxembourg Label of Origin (appellation d’origine protégée) and are blends of different grapes from the best vintages 2015 and 2016. The result is incredible and a must-try!
