As part of the new regime, we asked our dynamic readers to submit their photos based on the theme of ‘Reinvention.’ We were stunned with the results and blown away by the talent. We chose three of our favourites and we think you will agree that they are superb.

‘This particular photo has the subject of facing ourselves and reinventing, even on a daily basis, through this very personal process.’

Sara Čordaš is a graphic designer, illustrator and photographer from Croatia, based in Portugal and Luxembourg.
The overall subjects of the photo project she’s been working on are introspection, getting to know oneself constantly, and finding strength and motivation through it.

‘In my mind, “reinvention” implies a change of great magnitude. So what better way to illustrate such a concept than with huge letters, impossible to ignore, looming over Toronto’s Queen Street West just after dusk – the magic hour – when day turns to night and change is inevitable.

Six months ago Nic Roberts decided to change his life. He sold all of his belongings and started a business. His journey has led him to Alaska feeling more fulfilled than ever before. A moose attempting to navigate a stream is quite often how the editors of this magazine feel.  Nic knew nothing of boats and construction,  feeding sled dogs and making trails for them, living in the wilderness or survival,  yet he has reinvented himself and says ‘Every day is a new possibility.’

Thank you, readers, for inspiring us all with all of your images. We’re now accepting photos for our next challenge: ‘bloom.’ Please send your photos with a brief description to
