On April 23rd, the London Symphony Orchestra and Sir Simon Rattle will perform at the Philharmonie and we’ve got 2 tickets for a lucky reader!
With his orchestral interpretations, Sir Simon Rattle has secured himself a place in music history. These include his performances of all Gustav Mahler’s major orchestral works during his time as principal conductor of the Berliner Philharmoniker. He has a special relationship with the Austrian composer, for it was a concert with the latter’s Symphony N° 2 that inspired him to become a conductor in the first place.
From his stand overlooking the London Symphony Orchestra, Sir Simon Rattle will now be shedding new light on three of the composer’s posthumously published works. It’s bound to be a spectacular night at the Philharmonie Luxembourg!
