Party at Zigzag

A special night at Zigzag including a mini disco, zumba, treasure hunts, group games. Nothing says carnival like pizza and tiramisu, right?? To indulge in dinner, it’s €14 for adults and €7 for children, but it is possible to come without.

Do-It-Yourself Festival

The purpose of the festival is to develop the skills we need to build resilient communities, learn from each other, strengthen links between generations, and form networks. The DIY Festival offers different areas for both kids and parents.

Everybody can enjoy a communal meal around 19h so don’t forget to bring a dish to share. There will be a special kids ‘space’ to allow parents to enjoy the festival!

Cooking Classes for Kids (in English, French)

At Kidscooking.lu, we provide cooking classes for children from 4 years old, dedicated to encouraging healthier eating habits with organic recipes. These classes will stimulate your kids’ creativity and mobility, twice per month, on the following Saturdays and Sundays at 10h30-11h45, for questions and registrations e-mail us to asaplux@gmail.com.

This week: Cookies with superfruits! Deliciously sweet and high in antioxidants, mulberries and goji berries are superfruits full of vitamins A and C, protein and iron. They perfectly complement the traditional recipe of cookies.

Acromacoda Exhibition

Acromacoda is an online store based in Luxembourg and founded by Alexandra Lichtenberger in 2015. Acromacoda offers various artistic workshops and sells toys for children between 6 months and 12 years. The fabric toys are minimalist and develop the sense of touch, imagination and creativity of the child.

For one weekend, photos, drawings and toys from the Acromacoda shop will be on display at Kulturhaus! There will be toys to discover and play onsite, vegetarian snacks prepared by Alessandro Serpi to be tasted and there will even be a puppet workshop on three afternoons! A free fun day out.

Skiing/Sledding Options For Kids

And here are some places, close to Luxembourg, where you can go skiing even with little ones.
Snowhall-Amneville: indoor ski slopes, ski/sledding rental equipment available even for little ones (the smallest ski boot size is 26). There is even an indoor café/bar from which ski slopes are visible!
Erbeskopf: ski slope, around 91 km from Luxembourg city; ski/sledding rental equipment available as well
Les Vosges, France: around 2h30 from Luxembourg. Check the link for details of the different ski areas available. And here check the snow report.
