Jeanette Hutchines operates a friendly school with trained staff offering a range of dance options. If your child is interested in classical ballet or hip-hop, tap, jazz or even musical theatre in English, this is the dance school for them. All courses lead to a show for parents to attend and see how much their little one has learnt.
Ballet is taught from 3-18 year olds and from six, children can take the Royal Academy of Dance examinations.
Tap, Modern & Jazz and Hip Hop are open to over 5s, who can enter for The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing exams.

Prestigious dance classes held in the heart of the city with a dazzling end-of-course show for parents to enjoy. Options include ‘Maman+Mini’ for 18-36 months, Baby Dance for 3 years +, Aero kids for 4-5 year olds. Classical ballet proper starts from 6; hip-hop and jazz from 8. You will not be allowed in or to watch unless you go to the ‘Maman+Mini’ class, but there is a gym for you to use whilst you wait for your child, or a bar if you’d rather have a glass of something with a fellow mum. Your child needs to wear regulation clothing as directed by Li Marteling and it can get very crowded at the beginning and end of classes.

Learn some classic hip-hop moves, gain skills and confidence and showcase the routines onstage during presentations and competitions. Not only is it a wonderful chance to learn genuine hip-hop moves, but it’s a perfect full-body workout. The teacher, Joel Mbikayi, is a top-class dancer and a dedicated teacher. The classes run throughout the whole year, including school and summer holidays.
A wonderful initiative, whereby each subscription by a local child enables the organisation to offer a place to a refugee child for free. The schedule runs for ages 6-13, Tuesday 18:00-19:00 and Saturday 10:00-11:00; for ages 14+, Tuesday 19:00-20:00 and Saturday 11:00-12:00
