The University of Luxembourg was set up in 2003 and is a multilingual international university, strongly focused on research. There are currently three campuses: Campus Limpertsberg hosts the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance, parts of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication as well as the central administration units of the University; Campus Kirchberg hosts further parts of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Communications; and Campus Walferdange hosts the Faculty of Language and Literature, Humanities, Arts and Education.
Further possibilities for higher education
-The Institut Universitaire International (International University Institute) offers post-graduate degrees at 3rd cycle of university studies.
-The Sacred Heart University teaches MBA programmes. It was founded in 1991 and it is located in the Chamber of Commerce building in Luxembourg City.
-The Lycée technique des arts et métiers (Technical School for Arts and Crafts) offers a BTS (advanced vocational training certificate) for a design animator and media operator.
-The École de commerce et de gestion (School of Commerce and Management) offers a BTS in marketing, secretarial studies and management.
