Pick 2- Catch Ria Lina at Scott’s
Ria Lina (US/UK) with her solo show called “TABOO RAIDER”. Ria’s show looks at modern taboos such as racism, sexism and discrimination. Are we really heading in a direction of enlightenment and understanding or back to the middle ages? Are the liberated their own worst enemies? Not for the faint of humour. ‘Fearless, provocative and very funny
Pick 3- Afrikafest at Kulturfabrik
The Kulturfabrik Cultural Center, the Third World Solidarity Association (ASTM), Frères des hommes and SOS Faim have concocted this year again, a rich and quality program for this 8th edition. Visitors will be able to wander among the stands of the NGOs present, participate in the various workshops, taste culinary specialties or attend the demonstrations presented by students from many schools. On the evening of the festival, colorful and colorful concerts will warm up the atmosphere and make this day unforgettable.

Pick 4- COSL Spillfest
This is an event for the entire family and is a perfect way to spend a day off school and work. Every sport that exists in Luxembourg will be on show for everyone to have a go! Every year on Ascension Day, the Luxembourg Olympic and Sports Committee organizes in colaboration with the City of Luxembourg and other sports federations, its traditional sporting event with the goal to give children and parents the chance to discover sports and have fun.

Pick 5- ING Nightmarathon
Marathon in Luxembourg – it’s too late to register so you’ll just have to party and watch the runners go by. At dusk, in the narrow streets and alleys of the old town, never-ending rows of spectators standing on both sides of the course, absolute pandemonium at Place Guillaume, the quiet green parks in the city centre, small festivals in the exclusive residential areas.

Pick 6- Eurovision!
Calling all Eurovision enthusiasts. If you haven’t been to a Eurovision party, this is your year! Choose your country and make your bets! The Eurovision Song Contest 2018 will be the 63rd edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest and this year it takes place in Lisbon but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the PARTY! It will take place for the first time in Portugal following the country’s first victory at the 2017 contest in Kiev, Ukraine with the song “Amar pelos dois”, performed by Salvador Sobral.

Pick 9- Manhattan: The American Dream with Stefano Bollani
The musical West Side Story and the opera Porgy and Bess are the prototypes of US music theatre. The suites that the composers Leonard Bernstein and George Gershwin based on those works add up to a scintillating program. Head over to the Philharmonie Luxembourg to hear these works by the OPL accompanied by Italian superstar Stefano Bollani on piano.

Pick 10- Vernissage de l’exposition Almost Nature
For this summer exhibition, ARTSCAPE Contemporary has been invited by winegrower Bernard-Massard to present a special cuvée of works by five contemporary artists inspired by the beauty of the Moselle landscape. The selected paintings represent as many distinct and varied forms of visual expression as individual responses to the human-nature relationship that is manifested through the framing and the chosen perspective of each artist.
