The Real Deal

Every year in December you will begin to find freshly cut Christmas trees for sale.  People may be selling them in your commune from their house, or you can find them at most garden stores and even IKEA.  If you prefer to take home a potted tree that will continue to live after the festive season is over, check out your local plant shop or consider renting as mentioned above.  Bear in mind when purchasing a cut tree that they will last for 3-4 weeks, so mid-late December is the prefect time to get one.

Chop Your Own!

Driving in the direction to Trier from Luxembourg, take the exit Wasserbillig and continue on the Bundestraße. Just before Trier, there is a field where you can chop your own Christmas tree. The Christmas tree field is part of a tree nursery, Bösen. If you go, we would love to know your experience!
