He has a beautiful and tolerant wife and two children who want to grow up to be like their Father despite their Mother's fears and objections. The Flying Luxman loves the Luxembourg lifestyle, culture, and generous remuneration packages so much that at the end of each working day he flees across the border to his house in Germany.

Hi, my name is Juliet and I’m a teen living in Luxembourg. I have previously lived in Germany as well but I was born in England. I go to the European School Lux 2 where I am forced to learn maths (yuck). I love reading, writing and my dog Matilda, however I don’t like taking Matilda out on walks in wet weather, or any weather really. I would rather be at home but then I’d most likely have to do my maths homework, so I’m probably just going to hide away with a book (and Matilda).

After a decade working at Sky news, Lisa Burke will be bringing her wealth of reporting experience to City Savvy. Lisa has used her degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge and experience as a mother to write children's science books for Dorling Kindersley. Her dulcet Irish tones have filled the concert halls of London, Abu Dhabi and now Luxembourg, where she moved to in 2015.

I'm not the typical Fitness Trainer. I'm not into crazy training regimes or fad diets. My philosophy is simple: to get fit you need to find an activity you love, that fits into your schedule! After struggling with my own weight, I found boxing and it changed my mind and my body. I’ve now been teaching Group Fitness classes for over 11 years and I wouldn’t do anything else. I hope I inspire some of you to get fit through my group fitness classes HIITme Health & Fitness (Boxing, BootCamp and Kettlercise) or any activity you love!

Needing gainful employment, she worked as a television producer in Los Angeles until she met her British husband in a seedy beach bar. An enthusiastic expat, she is a good cook, a bad parker and occasionally terrible mother.

Miriam has over ten years of experience working in museums and galleries in the UK. With a specialism in historic fashion and textiles, she has worked with all kinds of museum collections, from taxidermy to toffee wrapping machines. She relocated to Luxembourg in 2011 and can often be found route marching her children through one of the local history museums, worksheets in hand.

Nikki moved to Luxembourg from England in May 2015, and spends most of her time with her two young children, watching in amazement as they take their first steps toward becoming multilingual. Rhona enjoyed a career in theatre and television before getting a "proper job", practising as a criminal defence barrister. However, Luxembourg has seen her return to her artistic roots and she's back treading the boards and teaching drama. She's been delighted to discover a vibrant arts scene in the Duchy and looks forward to bringing you all the best in theatre, music, dance and art.

She created the Luxembourg Meet Greet and Discover Group in order to introduce every aspect of Luxembourg to our international guests. Stefania moved to Luxembourg from Milan in 2007. She initially came for work and has since built a new life here with her husband and daughter. She graduated with a degree in Literature but has always been working in finance. In her free time she's a passionate traveller and photographer and also loves reading, sports and learning new languages.
- Sundeep Bhardwaj
Sundeep met his wife while reading Catch 22 on the beach in India and like the main character, he risks his life on a daily basis raising his two boys even though he knows his mission is useless as the kids have won the war. Now a Luxembourger, he scored the lowest possible score on the listening test and as his wife can confirm, he is unable to listen in any of the four languages he’s mastered.

Tante Simone is an incurable optimist who currently resides in Luxembourg. She has lived in a few other places and has traveled all over the globe, sometimes on the cheap other times a bit extravagantly. She has some siblings, some children, at least one spouse, parents, in-laws and a few exes in her past. She’s learned a lot from the school of hard knocks, had a little therapy and has managed to keep her drinking habit within the healthy published guidelines of at least one western country.
